He’s the director and creator of the highly popular 3D animated series FREEJ. Meet Mohammed Saeed Harib, the creative ambassador for Galaxy Note’s canvas:collective.
Mohammed Saeed Harib is a well-known Emirati animation director and Chairman of Lammtara Art Production. He studied General Arts and Animation at Northeastern University in Boston, before pursuing his dream to create the Middle East’s pioneering 3D animated series “FREEJ” - which was voted by viewers as the no.1 show of 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Mohammed has since won countless accolades and awards, which include “The Emerging UAE Talent Award” in 2007 at Dubai International Film Festival, “Special Country Award” for “FREEJ" in 2007 at the Hamburg Animation Awards, “Young CEO of the Year” in 2008 from CEO Middle East magazine and has been recognised as one of the “World’s Most Influential Arabs” from 2008 to 2012 by Arabian Business magazine.
In 2009, Mohammed directed the largest state-of-the-art Arabic theatrical production in the Middle East, FREEJ Folklore, which celebrates Arab heritage, culture and traditions.
Mohammed’s was recently a creative consultant for “Cruel Summer” a project that featured Kanye West and Hayat Alfahad and which was launched in the Cannes Film Festival.
He is currently working on the Animated Feature “The Prophet” with Roger Allers: the director of “The Lion King” and actress Salma Hayek who is acting as a producer on the project alongside The Doha Film Institute.
